WELCOME TO THE ROSCOMMON TOWNSHIP SUPERVISOR’S OFFICE

The Supervisor’s duties and responsibilities include serving as chairperson of the Township Board, moderator of any Township meeting and has the right and duty to regulate the proceedings of any meeting,including deciding questions of order, making declaration of votes cast,granting authority to persons to speak at the meeting and silencing those who may be out of order or disrupting the meeting. The Supervisor is the chief assessing officer of the Township, responsible for assessing property values within the Township.

Diane F. Randall has held the Township Supervisor position since 1997. Diane has further dedicated her 22 years of local government experience to many leadership boards and organizations within Houghton Lake. She has served as Chairperson of the Houghton Lake Sewer Authority, a contributing member of the Houghton Lake Building Agency and currently serves as Vice Chairperson of the Houghton Lake Ambulance Authority.

Diane is not only involved with the Houghton Lake community; she extends her time and knowledge to high levels of government. She was elected into the Michigan Townships Association (MTA) Board of Directors in 2005 and served as president of the MTA in 2017. She currently serves as past president and recently was elected as Zone 4 Director of the Michigan Participating Plan.

Diane has served as a member of the Emergency Medical Services Coordination Committee within the Michigan Department of Community Health. In 2012, she was appointed by then- Speaker of the House Jase Bolger to a new Aquatic Invasive Species Advisory Council.
