We are now offering Online Permitting! Roscommon Township has partnered with Cloudpermit to bring you additional options for obtaining your Land-Use Permit. With Cloudpermit, you can: Apply for Land-Use permits at any time, from anywhere; Check status of permit (receive automatic email updates); Schedule or cancel inspections; Communicate with the Zoning Department with time-stamped messages; Request and submit changes to an existing permit. Begin by creating your Cloudpermit account HERE or follow the instructions below.
Please Note: We are not currently accepting online payments at this time. Online pay will be available in the coming weeks. Please continue to submit payment in-person or by mail.
You DO need to obtain a Land-Use Permit before placing any shed on your property. Any shed greater than 200 sq/ft in size will also require a Building Permit. You can obtain your Land-Use Permit by clicking HERE.
Beginning January 3, 2023, Land-Use Permits will no longer be issued same day. A turnaround of 5-7 business days can be expected so as to allow adequate review of applications and submitted documents. To minimize any delays in your submitted application, please ensure ALL required documentation is provided at the time of submission.
Click the button below to begin your Permit Application. Cloudpermit currently supports Firefox, Google, and Safari browsers. Once registered, you can apply for permits and track their progress online. To view a video tutorial, click HERE.
All applications must include a sketch that includes: lot dimensions, size and location of existing structures, dimensions, size and location on the lot of the proposed structure, setbacks from front, side, and rear property lines and estimated cost of the structure or project.
