* November 3, 2026 – General Election

Early In-Person Voting is open October 24, 2026 through November 1, 2026 (including weekends) from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm.

The Roscommon Township Clerk’s office is open the following special hours for voter registration and issuing and accepting absentee ballots for the November 3, 2026 General Election:

Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC ACCURACY TEST OF VOTING EQUIPMENT

To the qualified electors of the Township of Roscommon, County of Roscommon, State of Michigan:

Notice is hereby given that a Public Accuracy Test for the electronic equipment that will be used in Precinct 1 and Precinct 2 for the November 3, 2026 General Election is scheduled for OCTOBER 14, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. in the Roscommon Township Hall located at 8555 Knapp Road, Houghton Lake, Michigan 48629. The Public Accuracy Test is conducted to demonstrate that the computer programming used to tabulate the votes cast for the election meets the requirements of Michigan election law.

Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Michigan Election Law, Public Act 116 of 1954, section 720j(10), as amended, that the November 3, 2026 General Election Early Voting Closing Board will convene to canvass the early votes for Roscommon Township on Tuesday, November 3, 2026 at 8:00 p.m., at the Roscommon Township Hall, 8555 Knapp Road, Houghton Lake MI 48629.
