Vicki Slater-Houghton Lake Women's Softball League Re: Use of fields Motion by Stevenson, support by Hose, to authorize the HL Women's Softball League use of Dutcher Softball Complex Fields #1 and #2 by the HL Women's Softball League on Tuesdays and Thursdays from May through August for the 2008 Season. Tournament dates are June 14th and 15th and July 19th and 20th, 2008. Said approval is conditional upon proper insurance, deposit for tournaments and payment of $400.00. All Yes, Motion Carried

Proposed changes to RT Zoning Ordinance: Motion by Stevenson, support by Pastula, to adopt by Resolution #2008-4-1a, change to Section 4.24B: Exception: for existing strip malls, plazas, or multiple office buildings, a SPR is not required for a change of use if the new use is permitted by right in the zone, and is in keeping with the nature of the building, and meets the specified parking requirements. Any questionable case may be referred to the Planning Commission. All Yes, Motion Carried

Fire Operating Millage Renewal. Motion to adopt Resolution #2008-4-1b as follows: Shall the expired previous voted increase in the tax limitation imposed under Article IX, Sec. 6 of the Michigan constitution in Roscommon Township, of .50 mills ($.50 pe $1,000 of taxable value) reduced to 4.612 ($.4612 per $1,000 of taxable value) by the required millage rollbacks be renewed at .50 mills, ($.50 per $1,000 of taxable value) and levied for 10 years, 2008-2017 inclusive, for fire department operations, raising an estimated $77,908 in the first year the millage is levied. All Yes, Motion Carried
